About the program

The Master degree in " Management of Media Institutions" aims to contribute to developing the work of Palestinian media institutions through providing a master’s degree that seeks to enhance capabilities of heads and managers of Media institutions to manage these entities effectively, professionally and competently, thus maintaining their sustainability. This program also comes to fill a noticeable gap in the field of graduate studies in Media field, especially that no such program is available in other Palestinian universities so offering this program will contribute to filling this gap, and it will have a positive impact on promoting media research to improve its performance.

This program relies on participatory and multidisciplinary transfer of science, expertise and skills approaches. It is implemented in a cooperation between the Faculty of Media and the Faculty of Administrative and Economic sciences at Al-Quds Open University, as this program integrates management concepts and skills with Media concepts and strategies, an experience that simulates global higher education institutions experiences.
