Education - Minor
Overview
The Education - Minor is designed to equip students of other disciplines of other faculties with competencies to train and qualify them to become teachers.
The Minor focuses on providing knowledge to prospective teachers about developing the character of children in schools and advancing their academic potentials through creating suitable, stimulating, and engaging learning environment in which children thrive and innovate.
Students must pass 27 credit hours in specialized courses and training to obtain a Education - Minor.
The Department aims to:
- Provide students with all necessary skills and knowledge to become competent teachers.
- Provide students with basics of sound performance and methodologies of teaching various disciplines at schools and developing the character of children in classes to enable their academic and personal growth.
- Introduce methods of creating suitable customized learning environments in classes based upon the science of child development.

- Teaching at institutes, centers and pre-schools institutions.
