QOU and Our Youth Home Foundation Sign Cooperation Agreement

 Al-Quds Open University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Our Youth Home Foundation, at the University Presidency Office in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate. The agreement was signed on behalf of QOU by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Salama Salem, and on behalf of the Foundation by its Director General, Mr. Ramadan Abu Taiba.

This partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in advancing civil society and empowering the youth sector. It focuses on enhancing students' skills and capabilities while developing joint work procedures and mechanisms through education, training, and professional development in various fields.

Dr. Salama expressed his happiness and constant keenness to establish partnerships with institutions that support students, adding that “the Deanship of Student Affairs seeks to activate the role of students in academic and extracurricular activities and youth programs and initiatives” with our partners in “Our Youth Home Foundation”, emphasizing that this agreement embodies a starting point towards fruitful cooperation. In turn, Mr. Abu Taiba expressed his happiness with this  partnership and said “we, at Our Youth Home Foundation, seek to achieve academic and training integration, and raise awareness among Palestinian youth towards independence and responsibility,” introducing the foundation that was established in 2023 to work in the field of sustainable community development, targeting the Palestinian youth segment, and adopting creative youth initiatives and programs that express the youth generation and contribute to solving their problems by preparing effective plans and strategies at the community level.
