Al-Quds Open University Ranks First in the 25th Arab and Palestinian Student Creativity Forum

 Al-Quds Open University won first place in the 25th Student Creativity Forum, organized by the Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity, part of the Union of Arab Universities. The event was held at Salahaddin University and Tishk International University in Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq. The forum's theme was "Ethics of Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on Scientific Research," with various topics, including scientific innovation, humanities research, modern trends in information technology, and artistic and literary creativity.

Student Nada Munir Jwailis achieved first place for her research titled "Jouska: Scenarios of Negative Self-Talk and Its Relationship with Self-Esteem Among Palestinian University Students."

The university's president, Prof. Ibrahim Al-Shaer, congratulated the university delegation on their outstanding performance, emphasizing that this achievement further solidified the university's position as a leader in academic excellence. He stressed that Al-Quds Open University prioritizes scientific research and consistently implements plans and programs to support it, with the goal of staying abreast of global developments.

Dr. Iyad Ishtiyeh, the university's representative on the Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity and the research supervisor, emphasized that the university’s participation over the years has been both active and impactful, setting it apart from other Arab universities. He also noted that the forum is an annual event designed to train and showcase the talents of Arab university students.

In previous editions, Al-Quds Open University has also earned top rankings, including fourth place in the 24th forum in 2023, as well as multiple awards in earlier forums, demonstrating the university's consistent success in academic and research excellence.
