As part of the activities of the project "Identify the main potential sources of heavy metals in different agricultural systems in Jenin Governorate (HEMiPA)", funded by the University of Applied Sciences, Al-Quds Open University and its partners have been collecting plant, water, soil, fertilizer, and pesticide samples from dozens of agricultural fields in Jenin Governorate for several weeks.
Dr. Aziz Salameh, Mr. Khaled Aslan, and a number of experts from the National Center for Agricultural Research and the Ministry of Agriculture, led by Dr. Zaher Barghouti, are overseeing the activity's implementation at Al-Quds Open University.
It is noteworthy that the project, funded by Switzerland, is implemented by Al-Quds Open University in partnership with the National Center for Agricultural Research affiliated to the Ministry of Agriculture and the Swiss University of ETH Zurich
