Dr. Khaled Hardan and Prof. Youssef Abu Zer, representing QOU, participated in a scientific visit to the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU). The visit was organized within the project “Boosting Innovation in Education and Research of Precision Agriculture in Palestine (BENEFIT) which is funded by the European Union through the “Erasmus+” program and led by Al-Quds Open University in partnership with five Palestinian and four European universities.
This visit aimed to transfer modern agricultural technology, network with friend universities in Europe, learn about smart and precise farming methods and promote its application in Palestine, and deal with climate change issues mainly in Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean region. This visit also included a tour to research centers and laboratories in Czech University of Life Sciences along with a visit to a smart and modern aquaculture farm in Prague.
