Al-Quds Open University (QOU) took part in the administrative meeting of the “Inner Peace – Mosaic” project, held in Cairo, Egypt, from April 5 to 9, 2026, with the participation of several international partner institutions.
QOU was represented by Dr. Mahmoud Huwamdeh from the Partnerships and Advancement Unit at Al-Quds Open University , and Ms. Saba Farhana, Head of the Digital Production Department at the Center for Digital Learning.
The meeting included brief introductory presentations by participating institutions. Dr. Hawamdeh delivered an overview of Al-Quds Open University, highlighting its key achievements and experience in international projects. The partners engaged in discussion sessions on virtual exchange experiences within the Virtual Mosaic and Eco Civic projects. Ms. Farhana addressed the main challenges encountered during project implementation, alongside an exchange of insights on successes and lessons learned.
During the meeting, participants also worked on developing and drafting proposals for future joint projects, aimed at strengthening the sustainability of collaboration and international partnerships among the participating institutions.
The program included a field visit to a local Egyptian organization, MAAT Foundation, to explore its experience in community-based work.
The participation of Al-Quds Open University in this meeting reaffirms its active role in international projects and its ongoing commitment to strengthening partnerships and exchanging expertise in the fields of digital education and cultural exchange, contributing to the development of innovative initiatives that serve youth and the wider community.
