The President of QOU, Prof. Dr. Samir Najdi, praised this step emphasizing that it embodies the concept of participation and belonging, and said: “We at the university branches open the doors to serve the all segments of society and to any activity that leads to a bright future for our chuildern, especially in teaching the English language, which is considered nowadays the language of science and modernity.”
The Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the University, Prof. Muhammad Shahin said that QOU responded to this activity within the framework of serving our students and our community, adding: “We pay great attention to developing specialized programs in teaching languages at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which leaves an impact on the academic development and the development of the students’ personalities and their ability to communicate and research”.
The English Language Olympia serves as an opportunity for combining English language learning with global community engagement through the use of technology, scientific research skills, communication, and teamwork. This educational fair brings together teams from schools and educational institutions across the country, with approximately 200 participants including students, judges, trainers, and volunteers.
