Al-Quds Open University Participates in Publishing a Book on Digital Citizenship and the Future of AI Engagement, Ethics, and Privacy

 Dr. Mahmoud Hawamdeh, a faculty member at QOU branch in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, published a new book through the international publishing house (IGI Global) in English on “Digital Citizenship and the Future of Artificial Intelligence: Engagement, Ethics, and Privacy,” which is the first scientific production to address this topic and one of the most controversial topics in the digital era, namely the relationship between artificial intelligence and digital citizenship and how to achieve responsible and ethical digital interaction in light of the rapid transformations imposed by artificial intelligence technologies and their increasing impact on various aspects of life.

This book includes 19 chapters with the participation of a number of researchers from the United States of America, Britain, Germany, Spain, France, Turkey, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Palestine. This book was introduced by Professor Jeff Allen from the University of North Texas in the United States of America. This book will also be classified in the Scopus database.

This book is an important scientific source for researchers and students to learn about the implications of artificial intelligence on citizens’ behavior and interactions in the digital space, in addition to how to benefit from artificial intelligence technologies in enhancing digital citizenship and investing these technologies in serving the society.
