QOU and Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri Mandailing Natal discuss cooperation

 Prof. Younes Amr, President of Al-Quds Open University and Dr. Turkis Lopez, the President of the governmental Islamic University in Indonesia Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri Mandailing Natal, discussed ways of cooperation between the two universities, during a meeting through "Zoom".

Prof. Amr commented that QOU is looking forward to cooperation in programs for primary education and basic education in the Faculty of Educational Sciences, especially in the field of Islamic sciences and learning the Arabic language," Amr addressed the partcipants of the meeting:“Your students are welcome to study at the Arabic Language Department in our university, and to cooperate in conducting research in the fields of Islamic jurisprudence and interpretation, Arabic language and literature, and postgraduate studies".

For his part, Dr. Turkis Lupes commented that the Indonesian University aims to develop academic, research, training and cultural programs, scientific studies and consultations and practical and scientific activities in cooperation with QOU. It also aims to  publish applications and Islamic lectures, establish specialized programs to train cadres, exchange experts and teachers between the two Universities, and participate in developing the educational process and conduct research and studies and cooperate  in developing e-learning programs at the university.
