The Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU) selects Prof. Yousef Abu Zir as a member of AAOU Best Practice Award (BPrA) Adjudication Committee 2021

 The Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU) selected Prof. Yousef Abu Zir, Head of the Department of Library and Information Technology at the Faculty of Technology and Applied Sciences, to be an arbitrator for global research within the annual award of AAOU for 2021.

The President of Al-Quds Open University, Prof. Younes Amr, received a letter signed by Dr. Rahmat Budiman, Secretary-General of The Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU): “I am delighted to inform you that one of your institution’s academician, Prof. Yousef Abuzir, has been selected as Member of AAOU Best Practice Award (BPrA) Adjudication Committee 2021.”

Dr. Budiman added, “We are very grateful to have him participating as his distinction in team work and his experience in open education and blended education had a major impact on the success of this event."

For his part, Prof. Younes Amr, the President of QOU thanked AAOU for its decision, which reflects the distinction of Al-Quds Open University in various fields, especially in the field of open and blended education. He also thanked the Prof. Abu Zir for his dedication to his work and conveying the best images of the university in international forums.
