The Faculty of Educational Sciences participates in a training program with the Canterbury University, UK, through virtual classroom

 The Faculty of Educational Sciences at "Al-Quds Open University" participated in the training program organized by the University of Canterbury, UK. The training was conducted through virtual classroom via Blackboard Collaborate technology.

The training, which lasted for four consecutive days 29/6—2/7, is part of the " The Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) project, which is implemented by the British University of Canterbury over three years with three Palestinian universities: Al-Quds Open University, the Hebron University, and Al-Quds University aims to enhance the research capabilities of faculty members in the three Palestinian universities . QOU was represented by Dr.  Khaled Dwaikat, coordinator of the graduation and practical education project at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, and a faculty member at QOU branch in Nablus, and Dr. Munther Al-Zyoud, a faculty member at Jenin branch.

The training included several axes; writing funding and research projects while focusing on the necessary skills and knowledge that enable universities to adopt the latest methods in research design besides, besidesthe evaluation of programs and writing research proposals and funded projects submitted to Erasmus programs. In addtion to collecting and analyzing qualitative data within the original qualitative research, as well as understanding the main components of research writing, publishing in prestigious international scientific journals, understanding analytical methods, interpreting qualitative data, and networking with local and global partners to obtain funding opportunities for research in the field of educational development in Palestine.
