QOU concludes a Food Safety Training Course

 The Center for Continuing Education and Community Service, and the Allumni Follow-up Unit in Student Affairs at Al-Quds Open University - Jenin Branch, concluded a training course entitled "Food Safety", as part of a series of courses offered by the Center to students and the local community.  

The course aimed to qualify students specializing in food processing to apply food safety systems within food industry, nutrition and catering companies. The trainer, Mr. Mohammad Ammar, talked about personal hygiene and its conditions for workers in the fields of food manufacturing and the systems used in factories to follow up on the personal hygiene of workers. He also talked about the conditions that must be met for food safety during the stages of the manufacturing process, and about risks and their types and ways to avoid them for food safety.

The Center for Continuing Education and Community Service provides a series of training courses in languages, and there is an International Training and Examination Center in the International Computer Driving License (ICDL). It also provides courses that serve the local community and students in many fields of knowledge, as well as a set of professional diplomas accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and approved by the Ministry of Labor.
