The Programs Director of FAO visits QOU

 Prof.  Dr.  Samir Najdi, President of Al-Quds Open University, met Dr. Azzam Saleh, Program Director at FAO in Palestine, Dr. Khawla Nujoum, the Project coordinator at FAO, and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Maen Sheqwara.

The meeting was concluded with the following:

-          Approval of QOU's engagement in FAO programs aimed at developing the abilities of graduates from the Faculty of Agriculture throughout a 6-month training course with 70 training hours.

-          Holding a 4-year cooperation agreement between QOU and FAO

-          Supporting pioneering and innovative graduation projects for students of the Faculty of Agriculture; by providing financial support of $20,000 for each project selected according to specific criteria, with the aim of developing the outputs of these pioneering and creative projects and transforming them into investment projects.
