Al-Quds Open University participates in the regional project for professional excellence in university libraries

 Al-Quds Open University, represented by the librarian, Mr. Muhammad Al-Agha participated in the training program held within the framework of Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI), which was held virtually for nine months, with the participation of (55) participants from (13) Arab countries (Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Tunisia , Algeria, Morocco, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, and Yemen), and the participants were selected according to AFLI criteria.

The training program aimed to develop the skills of university librarians in Arab countries; this contributes to improving the level of services, developing clear visions, and providing trainees with the necessary skills.

The training program included topics on data management, change management, libraries and development. It is worth noting that QOU was among the third-place winning team for the competing projects for the Library of Law application on smart phones and devices.
